Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darth Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Opas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Opas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Thunderstruck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Don Opas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darth Garcia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Opas! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Opas. Garcia with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Opas to score with a decent uppercut. Garcia misses with a takedown attempt and Opas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Garcia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Opas counters with a left to the body. Opas throws a low kick but Garcia moves out of range easily. Opas tries to work over Garcia's front leg with a kick but Garcia checks it. Opas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Garcia.
Opas connects with a single shot there. Opas tried to score with a low kick but Garcia checks it. Nice straight punches there by Opas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Opas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Garcia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Opas counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darth Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcia drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Garcia trying to control the position from guard on top but Opas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Opas is keeping the position for now. Opas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Opas is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garcia postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Opas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Garcia, into his guard. Garcia looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Opas passes into side control.
Opas looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Garcia is avoiding damage well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia is not content to let Opas control the position. Opas is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Garcia will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Garcia gets back to half guard. Opas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garcia keeps working. Garcia looking for submissions off his back. Garcia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Opas pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Garcia looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Opas pushes past his half guard into mount! Opas controlling the pace for now. Opas wants to control the pace but Garcia is squirming around nicely. Garcia is looking to get to half guard. Opas landing strikes from the mount and Garcia is in trouble! Garcia can't escape the position.
Garcia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Opas trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Opas dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
A chopping leg kick lands by Opas. Garcia misses with a takedown attempt and Opas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Garcia thinking. Some wild striking there from Opas.
Garcia shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Opas throws a good cross that connects.
Opas scoring well with a low kick there.

Garcia shoots and misses and Opas counters with a slapping leg kick.

Don Opas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garcia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Opas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darth Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcia takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A right-left combo lands from Opas. An inside leg kick lands from Opas. No joy there for Opas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Opas throws a nice inside leg kick. Opas cracks Garcia with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Opas scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A nice leg kick lands there from Opas. Opas misses with a head kick.
Opas throws a head kick that misses. Don Opas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Opas throws a leg kick that misses. Garcia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Opas dips to his left and cracks Garcia with an uppercut! Garcia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Opas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Garcia thinking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia walks into a stiff left hand from Opas. Opas has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Garcia takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Opas lands with a thumping leg kick.

Garcia on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Opas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Garcia has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Opas lands a jab. Opas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Garcia's calf.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garcia with a poor takedown and Opas counters with a straight right hand. Opas lands with a slapping head kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Opas scores with a punch to the head. Opas throws a low kick, looking for Garcia's leg but Garcia calmly moves out of range. Garcia is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Opas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Garcia's calf. Opas thuds his right hand into Garcia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Opas throws a sloppy head kick and Garcia moves out of range easily. Opas lands with a hook. Garcia tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Garcia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Opas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Garcia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
An inside leg kick lands from Opas. Garcia throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Opas was covering up waiting for the punch and Garcia finishes the takedown easily into guard. Garcia has gone for a leg lock! Opas slips out almost immediately though and dives into Garcia's guard. Opas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Opas trying to control the action but Garcia is working from the bottom. Garcia seems a little lost for a moment, as Opas dominates the positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Opas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garcia keeps working. Garcia tries to improve position but can't. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Don Opas wasn't active enough on the ground. Opas throws a shot to the body.
Opas moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Opas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Garcia takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A looping hook to the body misses from Opas. Garcia does a little dance to reset his feet. Garcia takes one to the side of the head.
Opas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia misses with a takedown attempt and Opas counters with a one-two to the body. Nice shot by Opas. Don Opas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A jab from Opas finds it's way through Garcia's defenses. Garcia's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Opas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Garcia scrambles back to his feet. Opas throws a head kick that half lands.
Opas throws a series of punches but Garcia avoids them all with ease. Opas cracks Garcia with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Garcia sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Opas connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Opas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Garcia. Garcia takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Garcia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Opas counters with a leg kick. Garcia takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Darth Garcia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Opas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
And that's the end of the fight! Don Opas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Opas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
