Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodolfo Gusman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Nut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gusman comes to the ring accompanied by La sonora santanera - El santo, el cavernario. Sam Nut told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nut throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gusman tests Nut's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Gusman throws out a loose jab but Nut uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
