Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Bourque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bourque's choice of entrance music: tnt buy acdc. Jesper Rush could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Keith Bourque's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesper Rush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keith Bourque! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush throws a head kick that half lands.
Rush fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bourque tries for a takedown but Rush circles away easily and Rush counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bourque! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing. Bourque really wants to buck Rush off and get back to his feet. Rush controlling the position easily from mount. Bourque tries to reverse the position but Rush maintains control. Rush looking to secure an arm triangle but Bourque defends it well. Rush with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rush jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bourque manages to avoid the submission attempt. Rush working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rush controlling from side mount. Bourque is trying to improve his position. Bourque gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bourque won't allow Rush to pass to mount. Bourque is trying to escape back to his feet but Rush uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Rush working away. Bourque looks gassed! Bourque might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rush kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Rush tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rush wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bourque keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rush tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesper Rush dominated that round. That's time! Rush's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rush scores a takedown into full mount! Rush unloading with bombs! Rush looking to control but Bourque is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rush pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Rush forces the positional change into back control. Rush has the hooks in. Bourque is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Good control from Rush. Rush looking for the choke but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Will Rush go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Bourque turns into Rush and is now in his guard.
Bourque is breathing heavily. Bourque throwing strikes from guard but Rush blocks nicely. Bourque must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rush is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rush looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rush wants to hit a switch here but Bourque passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rush there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bourque wants to stand but Bourque is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Rush can't escape the position.
Rush tries to lock up and control but Bourque gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bourque tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Bourque is working for a guillotine from mount but Rush frees his head quite easily.
Bourque prevents Rush from getting the reversal. Bourque can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rush is looking to escape. Rush is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesper Rush dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Bourque swats away the attempt to clinch by Rush. Bourque throws a body kick the misses and Rush counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Rush passes the guard and advances to mount! Bourque is looking to get to half guard. Rush wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Rush sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rush tries to control but Bourque wriggling away. Bourque takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bourque tries to hold on but Rush pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rush controlling the position easily from mount. Rush looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Bourque is squirming around, avoiding Rush's attempts to control the action. Rush is looking to take Bourque's back but instead Bourque gets back to half guard. Nice work. Bourque is in trouble now - Rush has advanced to mount! Bourque keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush controlling the pace for now. Rush looking to control but Bourque is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Keith Bourque has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jesper Rush. Nice defenses there by Rush. Bourque changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rush parries the strikes from Bourque easily there. Bourque is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rush to escape.
Rush manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bourque's best efforts. Rush gets full guard. Rush working a defensive guard here.
Bourque drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bourque jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesper Rush showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rush has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
