Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Bagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafeal Nader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Bagger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rafeal Nader!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nader shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bagger but Bagger pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nader drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nader stopping the sweep attempt from Bagger.
Bagger trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Nader won't allow Bagger to sweep him here.
Bagger trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Bagger manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nader manages to get himself to full guard.
Nader wants to sweep but no luck.
Bagger slips nicely into half guard.

Bagger is working for a submission of some sort.

Bagger working over Nader with some ground and pound. Nader looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bagger wants to stand up but Nader manages to regain full guard.
Bagger tries to free his leg and advance position but Nader is retaining full guard.
Bagger working some strikes from top position.
Nader is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nader is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nader keeping moving, preventing Bagger from controlling successfully.

Bagger stands and steps away. Nader gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bagger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bagger is breathing heavily.
Bagger forces his way into half guard.
Nader tries to roll over but Bagger keeps him under control.

Bagger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nader is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nader is not content to let Bagger control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nader won't allow Bagger to pass to mount.
Nader blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bagger.

Bagger seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bagger moves in looking to clinch but Nader pushes him off.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bagger.
Bagger working the body and head with strikes.
Nader can't do much from the bottom here.

Bagger stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Nice straight punches there by Bagger. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bagger.
Tom Bagger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bagger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bagger connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Nader some visible discomfort.

Bagger is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nader knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bagger lands a decent elbow from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Bagger dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nader gets caught flat footed, as Bagger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bagger scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Nader looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bagger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nader's guard.
Tom Bagger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bagger is working for a submission of some sort.

Bagger is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bagger winds up and cracks Nader with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Bagger is looking for a kimura but Nader is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bagger to get the leverage.
Bagger is looking to pass Nader's guard but actually Nader recovers to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nader has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bagger should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nader has tightened it up now! Bagger should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
