The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riven closes the distance but Slaslovski moves to the side
and Slaslovski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Riven's guard now.
Slaslovski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Riven is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Riven has escaped and now he's on top!
Riven slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Riven trying to control the action but Slaslovski is working from the bottom.
Slaslovski wants to control but Riven postures up.
Riven controlling the position from side mount.
Slaslovski is looking to reverse the position.

Slaslovski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Slaslovski flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riven is keen to just control but Slaslovski is a slippery customer.
Slaslovski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Riven seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Slaslovski is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
