Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Francisco De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Lehew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francisco De Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Lehew! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lehew looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
De Silva wants to stand but Lehew is controlling his posture from full guard. De Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lehew throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Silva wants to control from the top but Lehew keeps moving. Lehew looking for a guillotine here but De Silva defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lehew working for a triangle but De Silva defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lehew has a closed guard, preventing De Silva from standing up. De Silva drops back looking for a leg! Lehew is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lehew manages to kick De Silva off! De Silva jumps back into Lehew's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lehew is looking for a triangle here but De Silva uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Lehew tries to improve position but can't. Lehew is trying to control De Silva's posture but De Silva avoids it. Lehew might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control De Silva kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Silva stands up and we're back to a striking position. Horrible takedown by Lehew or perhaps it was just good defense by De Silva which made him look bad. Lehew shoots in and drives through. De Silva sprawls well. Lehew has his takedown stuffed and De Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Francisco De Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Lehew. Lehew looks gassed! A head kick from De Silva lands but Lehew takes it in his stride. De Silva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lehew's head backwards. De Silva tries to clinch up and Lehew counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. De Silva wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! De Silva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. De Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lehew is working for a kimura but De Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Silva tries to roll over but Lehew keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Francisco De Silva dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
De Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lehew back to the cage. De Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. De Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lehew counters with a shoot takedown. De Silva fights it but they end up in guard. De Silva throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lehew uses it to pass to side control.
De Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lehew controlling the position. Lehew is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, De Silva has escaped the position, nice work there.

Not really close to a finish though. De Silva is looking to regain half guard here but Lehew keeps moving and retains side control. Lehew wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Silva, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. De Silva is trying to get back to his feet. De Silva is looking for a sweep. De Silva pushes Lehew away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lehew gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Lehew tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lehew has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lehew is trying to get an arm triangle but De Silva is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lehew working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Lehew is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. De Silva is trying to escape and Lehew transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and De Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lehew! Very nice indeed!
