Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Firus Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Axel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fuel-Hemorrhage. Axel has chosen We can Win as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams gets caught napping as Axel dives in and scores a takedown. Williams manages to retain guard.
Axel slips nicely into half guard.
Williams is defending against the submission attempts here by Axel.
The fighters are battling for position here. Williams manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Williams holds on and takes a little breather.
Axel has gone for a leg lock! Williams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Axel's guard.
Axel looking for a sweep. Not yet Axel, not yet.

Axel has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Williams has passed into side control.
Axel tries to bench press Williams off him but Williams keeps the position.
Williams wants to control but Axel is keeping him busy.
Axel sneaks back into half guard.
Williams is controlling the pace.
Williams wants to pass to mount but Axel is defending the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Williams is working hard here to advance position.
Williams is keen to just control but Axel is a slippery customer.
Williams is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Axel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Williams.
Axel is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Williams thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Williams passes the guard and advances to mount!
Axel blocking the ground and pound.
Axel tries to improve his position but Williams has taken his back! Williams has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Axel tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Williams pushes Axel away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
