Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Booze Hound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uncle Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uncle Joseph has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booze Hound! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uncle Joseph! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joseph throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hound counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Joseph's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hound controlling from the top position. Hound scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Joseph is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hound seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Joseph looks gassed! Joseph looking for a sweep. Not yet Joseph, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joseph is working an open guard so Hound takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hound shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Joseph napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hound has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hound scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hound throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hound perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hound stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Joseph to get to his feet. Hound throws a nice inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hound drives through with a takedown into Joseph's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hound is looking to work some ground and pound but Joseph has wrist control. Hound content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hound stands up from Joseph's guard - Hound perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hound gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hound's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hound closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hound lands in his opponent's guard. Hound stands and throws Joseph's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Joseph's face as Hound controls the position. Hound has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hound decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hound gets a takedown into half guard. Hound postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Joseph to stand up. Hound pushes Joseph up against the cage in a clinch. Hound gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hound scoring with punches to the head and body. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hound accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hound is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hound drops back looking for a leg! Joseph is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joseph manages to kick Hound off! Hound jumps back into Joseph's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hound throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hound is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hound is in close to Joseph's body, working some short punches and elbows. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hound controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hound works over Joseph with some ground and pound from guard. Hound is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Booze Hound dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hound manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joseph on his heels. He'll look to pass Joseph's guard now, I'm sure. Hound controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hound in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Booze Hound overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hound gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hound clinches up with Joseph and pushes him back against the cage. Hound turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hound manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Joseph's face as Hound controls the position. Joseph is looking for a sweep. Hound taking a breather here. Hound is chipping away with strikes.
Joseph is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hound creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hound looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hound is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Joseph is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hound just content to control the position. Hound has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hound lands with a nice body punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hound drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hound postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hound wants to pass the guard but Joseph is keeping the position. Hound controlling from the top position. Hound works over Joseph with some ground and pound from guard. Hound is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hound stands up and waves to Joseph to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hound lands a big head kick that sends Joseph tumbling to the mat! Hound takes a step backwards and waves Joseph back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Joseph is rocked! Hound dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Joseph has had enough and taps out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Booze Hound!
