Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carrey has chosen When the man comes around - Johnny Cash as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jim Carrey was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Carrey! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carrey throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Charles counters with an inside leg kick. Carrey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Charles counters with a nice uppercut. Jim Carrey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carrey with a lazy takedown attempt and Charles counters with a stiff right hand. Charles lunges at Carrey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Carrey's hand. Carrey with a lazy takedown attempt and Charles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Henry Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Carrey. Carrey fails with the takedown and Charles counters with a lovely straight right hand! Carrey shoots and misses and Charles counters with an inside leg kick. Carrey looks gassed! Carrey has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Charles finds it's way round the side to connect with Carrey's head. Carrey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Charles counters with a nice uppercut. Carrey has his takedown stuffed and Charles counters with a nice low kick that buckles Carrey's knee momentarily. This has been an exciting period of action! Carrey on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Charles. Charles obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carrey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Charles's jab looks to have found its range, popping Carrey under the eye. Carrey tries for a takedown but Charles circles away easily and Charles counters with a nice body shot. Charles paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Carrey fails with the takedown and Charles makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Charles throws a leg kick which misses Carrey's front leg but catches the back leg as Carrey tries to avoid it. Henry Charles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Charles scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carrey in his tracks. Charles throws a head kick that misses. Charles tests Carrey's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Charles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carrey. Carrey circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Charles fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Carrey. Charles turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Carrey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Charles. Charles lands with a hook. Carrey tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Carrey has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Charles finds it's way round the side to connect with Carrey's head. Carrey misses with a takedown attempt and Charles counters with a nice uppercut. Charles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Nice uppercut there from Charles. Charles connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Charles scores with a shot to the body.
Carrey is trying desperately to land a takedown but Charles is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Carrey. Charles lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Charles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Carrey walks into a left hand. Charles scores with the left hand. Carrey knows he should have avoided that one. Charles throws a right and a left that Carrey avoids nicely. Carrey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Charles to counter with a crisp jab. Carrey misses with a takedown and Charles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Charles scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Carrey with a lazy takedown attempt letting Charles counter with a right hand. Charles listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Charles darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Carrey misses with a left hand letting Charles counter with a right hand. Charles feints and then cracks Carrey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carrey down. Carrey takes a shot right to the bread basket. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice jab there from Charles. Charles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Carrey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Carrey misses with a takedown attempt and Charles counters with a slapping leg kick. Charles fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carrey takes one to the side of the head.
Carrey has his takedown stuffed and Charles counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Charles dominated that round. That's time! Charles's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Charles feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carreys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Carrey fails with the takedown and Charles counters with a nice leg kick. Charles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Carrey fails with the takedown and Charles counters with a leg kick. Charles fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carrey has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Charles lands with a straight right. Carrey didn't see that one coming. Carrey misses with a takedown and Charles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Henry Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Carrey. Charles bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Henry Charles is winning the standup battle so far. Carrey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Charles counters with a left and a right that stings Carrey.

Charles is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Carrey can do to turn this around? Charles cracks a nice hook into Carrey's ribs. Carrey misses with a takedown and Charles counters with a good low kick that Carrey was not able to check. Carrey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Charles can pounce on him.
Nice cross by Charles. A cross from Charles lands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Charles is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Charles does it's job there. Charles lands a leg kick that knocks Carrey off balance momentarily. An inside leg kick lands from Charles. Charles lands a glancing blow to the side of Carrey's head. Carrey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Charles connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carrey scrambles back to his feet. Carrey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Charles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Charles's corner calls for a 1-2. Charles obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Carrey might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Charles has got the better of the exchanges. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Charles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carrey misses with a takedown and Charles counters with a stiff right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Charles dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Charles moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Carrey shoots and misses and Charles makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Carrey on the wrong end of a nice hook. Carrey has his takedown stuffed and Charles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jim Carrey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A solid leg kick lands there for Charles.
