Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Verniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy gets to his feet - Verniak follows without any prompting.
Hardy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hardy uses his free foot to push down on Verniak's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Verniak.
Hardy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Verniak is looking to escape.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Hardy! Verniak is hurt baaadly! Hardy is firing away with more strikes - Verniak is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
