The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chips looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Williams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ted Chips overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Williams parries the strikes from Chips easily there. Chips is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Williams to escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Williams tries to buck Chips off but Chips is having none of it.
Williams is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Williams misses with a wild body shot.
Chips shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Chips's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Chips. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chips is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Williams connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Chips sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Chips feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chips has gone for a leg lock! Williams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chips's guard.

Chips will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ted Chips is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cameron Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chips has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
