Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Viktor Nojudo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yushuri Nakatano! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakatano feints and as Nojudo raises his hands in defense, Nakatano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nojudo keeping full guard, as Nakatano tries to pass. Nakatano controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nojudo throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Nakatano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nojudo is keeping the position for now. Nakatano passes easily into side control. Nice work. Nojudo is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nakatano gets to mount! Nojudo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Nakatano lands a nice shot to the head. BOOM! Nakatano connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nakatano looking to secure an arm triangle but Nojudo defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Nojudo is trying to escape the mount.
Nakatano is landing with some decent strikes but Nojudo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nojudo tries to control the position but Nakatano now has his back.

Nakatano scores with punches and elbows. Nakatano working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Nojudo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Nojudo tries to lock up and control but Nakatano gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nojudo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nakatano is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Nojudo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Nojudo! Nakatano looks gassed! Nojudo thows a big elbow that misses. Nakatano keeping moving, preventing Nojudo from controlling successfully. Nojudo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Nakatano pushes a forearm under Nojudo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Nojudo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
