Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cobb Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnnie Walker! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker throws a combination that misses and Nash counters with a leg kick. Left hook, right uppercut from Walker. Walker throws a hook but Nash avoids it easily. A slow jab from Walker misses its intended target. Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nash lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Walker throws a lazy uppercut
and Nash counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nash needs to keep his hands up - Walker had a free shot at his head there. Walker throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Nash counters with a slapping leg kick. Nash pivots, looking for a leg kick but Walker is out of range and Nash settles back down. Nash throws a jab but it's blocked by Walker. Nash showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Walker.

and Nash counters with a nice body shot. Walker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Walker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nash. Walker misses with a right hand and Nash counters with a nice body kick. Walker misses with a right hand and Nash counters with a stiff right hand. Nice straight punches there by Walker. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Walker. Nash digs a good hook to Walker's body.
Walker looks gassed! Nash cracks Walker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nash dips to his left and cracks Walker with an uppercut! Walker misses with a body punch
and Nash counters with a shoot takedown. Walker fights it but they end up in guard. Nash scoring with some ground and pound. Nash showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to sweep here but Nash controlling him for the moment. Nash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nash's corner is telling him to maintain position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Nash won't allow Walker to sweep him here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cobb Nash wasn't doing enough on the ground. Walker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Walker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Walker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Nash is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Walker throws a lazy uppercut
and Nash counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Walker takes one to the side of the head.
Walker closes the distance looking to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Nash with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That kick from Nash tenderised Walker's leg. Walker is trying to keep his angry face on. Walker takes a body punch but keeps moving. Johnnie Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nash connects with a leg kick. Walker looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. This has been an exciting period of action! Nash's jab looks to have found its range, popping Walker under the eye. Nash lands a glancing blow to the side of Walker's head. Nash lands a jab to Walker's midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash feints and then cracks Walker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Walker down. Nash digs a good hook to Walker's body.
Nash is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nash with a jab. Walker on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nash. Nash obviously looking to wear him down.
Nash connects with a body shot that sends Walker's belly button to the back. Walker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nash lands a two punch combo.
Jab from Nash. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A nice inside leg kick there by Nash. That's going to slow Walker down. Nash throws a good cross that connects.

and Nash counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nash lands a jab to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cobb Nash dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Walker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nash throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Nash walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Walker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nash to score with a decent uppercut. Nash shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Walker napping and manages to drive through into side control! Walker is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Nash is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Nash cracks Walker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nash lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Nash takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nash has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker can't escape the position.
Walker is breathing heavily. Nash dominating with strikes here. Nash controlling from the full mount. Walker tries to lock up and control but Nash gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Walker tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nash blocks Walker's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Walker gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash content to control rather than advance. Nash works his foot free and advances to mount. Walker is working to get back to half guard.
Nash looking to control but Walker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Nash lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Walker can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash with a couple of short strikes. Walker is working to get back to half guard.
Nash lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Nash content just to control the position here. Walker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Walker tries to get to full guard but Nash has control of the leg. Nash perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Nash uses his free foot to push down on Walker's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Walker.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to control but Nash is having none of it. Walker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Walker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Nash controlling the pace for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walker tries to reverse the position but Nash maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cobb Nash dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice body punch from Walker. Walker throws a looping overhand right but Nash ducks down to avoid it. Nash takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Walker's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Walker throws a right hand that misses
and Nash counters with a stiff right hand. Nash gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Cobb Nash is winning the standup battle so far. Nash is looking to slow Walker down with leg kicks. Nash lands a jab to Walker's midsection. Walker throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Walker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nash scores with a hook to the body. Walker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Walker throws an off balance right hand
and Nash counters with a slapping leg kick. Nash cracks the inside of Walker's front leg. Walker misses with an uppercut
and Nash counters with a thumping low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash connects with a nice looking jab.
Walker takes one to the side of the head.
Nice body kick from Nash. A cross from Nash lands. Nash swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.
Nash is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Walker can do to turn this around? That kick from Nash tenderised Walker's leg. Walker is trying to keep his angry face on. and Nash counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nash - the referee stops the clock and Walker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nash. Walker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Walker on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Walker has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Nash just misses with a punch to the body.

Nash connects with a good right hand that stumbles Walker. Walker circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nash closes the distance and pushes Walker back into the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Nash. Nash lands a left hand.
A nice right hand lands inside from Nash. Nash scores with an uppercut up the middle. Nash works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nash scores with a shot to the side of Walker's head. Nash swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nash has clasped his hands together around Walker's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Nash works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Walker tries to buck Nash off but Nash is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nash creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Walker is trying to escape the position but Nash is controlling the position. Walker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nash wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nash lands a decent elbow from side control. Nash controls the position. Nash advances to mount. Nash controlling the position easily from mount. Nash landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Walker is desperately trying to improve his position but Nash has a good base and remains in mount. Cobb Nash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nash controlling from the full mount. Walker can't escape the position.
Johnnie Walker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cobb Nash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nash cracks Walker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

And that's the end of the fight! Cobb Nash showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
