Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Naulapyssy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Naulapyssy's choice of entrance music: Raised Hammerfist. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naulapyssy misses with a takedown and Johnson moves into the clinch. Johnson tightens his grip and picks Naulapyssy up, before dumping him to the ground. Naulapyssy manages to land in guard. Naulapyssy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Johnson stays in close to Naulapyssy's body and controls the position. Johnson wants to control from the top but Naulapyssy keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Naulapyssy wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position. Johnson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Johnson. Naulapyssy tries to sprawl but Johnson drives through with a takedown into half guard. Naulapyssy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Naulapyssy is not content to let Johnson control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Naulapyssy wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Naulapyssy can do anything to dispel that myth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johnson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
