Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Mak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall Graves is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freddy Mak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randall Graves!
The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves closes the distance but Mak moves to the side
and Mak counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Graves wants to clinch
letting Mak counter with a right hand.
Graves closes the distance but Mak moves to the side
and Mak counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mak circles away from the clinch attempt
and Mak counters with a nice uppercut.


Graves is rocked!

Mak shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Graves is trying to defend but Mak finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Graves is still in real trouble! Can Mak finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mak is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Graves sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mak is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Graves defends it well.
Graves seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mak is working for a kimura but Graves is defending it quite comfortably.
Mak looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Mak is working for a submission of some sort.
Mak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Graves keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mak working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Graves's thigh. Graves counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Graves has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mak off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Graves scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mak trying to control but Graves postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Graves stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Graves closes the distance but Mak moves to the side

and Mak counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mak works his way into side control.

Mak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Graves knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Graves is not content to let Mak control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Graves stops Mak from passing to mount.

Mak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Graves is trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mak has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Graves!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Freddy Mak dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Graves has managed to clinch.
Mak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Graves walks away with a smile on his face. Mak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Graves tries to clinch up

and Mak moves into the clinch.
A knee to the head by Graves.


It looks like Freddy Mak has been cut.
Graves lands a knee to the head.


Mak is rocked!
Graves is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Oh Mak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Graves.
Mak fails to pull guard.
Mak seems to have got his legs back now.
Mak tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Graves smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Mak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mak looks up at the clock. Bad move! Graves lands a right hand from hell, dropping Mak. Graves pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randall Graves!
