Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Sequeira! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sequeira fails with the takedown and Gordon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sequeira misses with a takedown enabling Gordon to counter with a crisp jab. Sequeira doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gordon counters with a straight right hand. John Gordon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Sequeira. Gordon throws a leg kick but Sequeira sees it coming and checks it nicely. Sequeira shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gordon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Gordon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gordon moves into the clinch. Gordon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sequeira with a poor takedown and Gordon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sequeira thinking. Sequeira scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gordon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Sequeira is looking to take a break and control but Gordon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gordon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sequeira grinds an elbow into Gordon's temple. Sequeira trying to control the position but Gordon is working away. Gordon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Sequeira lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gordon down.
Sequeira has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gordon is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sequeira yanks on the arm and Gordon is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sequeira.
