Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Cockren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Porsche Carrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Porsche Carrera!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrera throws a right and a left that Cockren avoids nicely.
Carrera shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cockren eats them both and turns towards Carrera to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Carrera misses with a two punch combination.

Cockren closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carrera quickly recovers to half guard.
Carrera blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cockren.
Cockren throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cockren trying to control from half guard but Carrera is working away.
Cockren thows a huge punch but Carrera dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cockren thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cockren tries to pass the half guard into mount. Carrera knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Carrera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cockren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cockren throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Cockren is controlling the pace.
Carrera is staying active underneath Cockren, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

and Cockren counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cockren is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Cockren has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cockren drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cockren jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cockren slips a nice elbow through Carrera's hands, connecting with Carrera's forehead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cockren connects with a nice short shot to Carrera's temple.

and Cockren counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jon Cockren just wasn't active enough.
Carrera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

so Cockren counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jon Cockren wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Cockren scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cockren is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Carrera's shoulder. That is not cool.

Cockren is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carrera has escaped the position, nice work there.
Carrera seems a little lost for a moment, as Cockren dominates the positioning.

Cockren wants to control but Carrera is keeping him busy.
The strikes coming from Cockren are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Carrera avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cockren.

Cockren is looking to take a break and control but Carrera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Carrera takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Porsche Carrera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carrera throws a combination that misses

and Cockren decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carrera's guard.

Cockren looking for a triangle here. Carrera is fighting it but it looks tight! Cockren pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Carrera is tapping out - this one is all over!
