The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfssen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hanzo is fending him off so far but Wolfssen persists. Nope, Hanzo circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolfssen regains half guard.
Wolfssen tries to get to full guard but Hanzo has control of the leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wolfssen tries for a takedown but Hanzo circles away easily

and Hanzo counters by moving into the clinch.
Wolfssen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hanzo pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Hanzo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hanzo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hanzo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wolfssen doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hanzo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wolfssen won't be happy with that.
Hanzo wants to control but Wolfssen is keeping him busy.
Wolfssen is looking for a sweep.
Wolfssen is breathing heavily.
Wolfssen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hanzo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wolfssen wants to improve his position but Hanzo is controlling well.
Hanzo is stalling here. Wolfssen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hanzo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wolfssen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Wolfssen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hanzo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wolfssen's best efforts.

Wolfssen is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Hanzo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hanzo pushes Wolfssen off and gets back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like Hanzo is going to stand back up.

Hanzo moves in looking to clinch but Wolfssen pushes him off.

and Hanzo counters with a single leg into guard. Wolfssen didn't expect that.
Wolfssen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hanzo gets to his feet - Wolfssen follows without any prompting.

Hanzo closes the distance and clinches.
Wolfssen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hanzo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hanzo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Wolfssen is trying to break the clinch but Hanzo has him pressed against the cage.

Wolfssen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hanzo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wolfssen to the mat. Wolfssen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hanzo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hanzo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hanzo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolfssen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wolfssen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hanzo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hanzo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hanzo stands and steps away. Wolfssen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Wolfssen tries to pull guard but Hanzo holds him up against the cage and eventually Wolfssen drops back down to his feet.

Wolfssen drops back looking for a leg! Hanzo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hanzo manages to kick Wolfssen off! Wolfssen jumps back into Hanzo's guard.

Wolfssen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hanzo's guard.
