The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunfields gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hua connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hua misses with a left hand

so Sunfields counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sunfields looking to pass the guard.
Sunfields advances to half guard.
Hua tries to get to full guard but Sunfields has control of the leg.

Hua won't allow Sunfields to pass to mount.
Sunfields is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hua!
Sunfields thowing shots but they're missing.
Hua on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hua tries to get out of the position.
Hua tries to hold on but Sunfields pushes him away.
Hua trying desperately to get to his feet.

Sunfields has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sunfields thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Hua holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sunfields tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Sunfields punching from mount but Hua doing a good job of avoiding damage.

It looks like Nihua Hua has been cut.
