Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kirshaw avoids a kick to the body.
Kirshaw on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kirshaw throws a nice outside leg kick. Hughs buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hughs throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kirshaw. Hughs takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kirshaw punishes Hughs's body with a nice straight punch. A low kick from Hughs misses letting Kirshaw counter with a right hand. Kirshaw clobbers Hughs with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A nice combination there by Kirshaw.
Hughs throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kirshaw sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A low kick from Hughs is predictable there and Kirshaw counters with a low kick, right behind Hughs 's knee. Kirshaw moves out of range of the body kick. Kirshaw slips under a jab. Hughs connects with an inside leg kick. Kirshaw rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hughs moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A low kick from Kirshaw is predictable there and Hughs counters with a solid body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Hughs misses and Kirshaw counters with a good low kick that Hughs was not able to check. Kirshaw cracks a nice hook into Hughs's ribs. Hughs looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Good shot there by Kirshaw. Kirshaw lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hughs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kirshaw's calf. Hughs throws a body punch but Kirshaw moves out of range. Kirshaw throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hughs uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kirshaw. Hughs lands a high kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kirshaw throws a solid leg kick but Hughs takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kirshaw. Hughs blocks a jab. Kirshaw throws a right and a left that both miss. Thomas Kirshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kirshaw takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kirshaw misses with a lunging right hand
and Hughs counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hughs throws a lazy head kick and Kirshaw counters with a good low kick that Hughs was not able to check. A telegraphed right hand from Hughs misses the target. Kirshaw misses with a left hand letting Hughs counter with a right hand. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hughs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kirshaw misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hughs is looking to slow Kirshaw down with leg kicks. Hughs staying out of range there. Kirshaw misses with a left hand and Hughs makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kirshaw really felt that one! Kirshaw throws a leg kick and Hughs counters with a good, hard body kick but Kirshaw shrugs it off. Kirshaw throws a hook to the side of Hughs's head but Hughs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hughs buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kirshaw connects with a solid leg kick. Kirshaw uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hughs.
Hughs fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hughs scores with a kick to the midsection. Hughs walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kirshaw checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Kirshaw throws the left hand but Hughs avoids the punch easily. Kirshaw throws a head kick that misses. Hughs tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hughs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kirshaw sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hughs throws a wild body kick that Kirshaw sees coming a mile off. Good work by Hughs as he checks the leg kick. Hughs does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hughs takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hughs throws a leg kick and Kirshaw counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hughs is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kirshaw throws a sloppy head kick and Hughs moves out of range easily. Hughs throws a front kick aimed at Kirshaw's knee but Kirshaw avoids it well. Hughs lands with a kick to the temple. Kirshaw shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Hughs is looking to wear down Kirshaw with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A lazy body kick from Kirshaw and Hughs counters with a nice leg kick. Kirshaw on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A solid leg kick lands there for Kirshaw.
Good leg kick by Kirshaw there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hughs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kirshaw thows a left - swing and a miss! Hughs misses with a leg kick and Kirshaw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Thomas Kirshaw. Well Hughs has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
