Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tonii Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Florijan Jagatic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Florijan Jagatic!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jagatic fails with the takedown.
Jagatic tries for a takedown but Jaa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A nice combination there by Jaa.
Jagatic shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaa sprawls well. He's pushed Jagatic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tonii Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Florijan Jagatic.
Jagatic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jaa's waist but Jaa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jagatic off to one side.
Both fighters circling a little - Jaa finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jagatic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Jaa tries to get to full guard but Jagatic has control of the leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tonii Jaa.

Jaa leaves Jagatic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jagatic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jaa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jagatic dives in and grabs Jaa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jaa pushes down on Jagatic's head and hops out.
Jaa throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jagatic.

and Jaa counters with a body kick.
Jagatic should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jaa.
Jaa pushes Jagatic away with a front kick.
Jaa thumps Jagatic with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jaa throws a leg kick which misses Jagatic's front leg but catches the back leg as Jagatic tries to avoid it.

A head kick from Jaa lands but Jagatic takes it in his stride.

Florijan Jagatic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jagatic has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jagatic chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jaa can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jagatic sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jaa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jaa lands with a kick to the temple. Jagatic shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Jaa counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Jagatic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jaa avoids it really well and circles away.

Jaa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
