Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Hitzlspergher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wes Chapman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Hitzlspergher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wes Chapman! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chapman throws a sloppy head kick and Hitzlspergher moves out of range easily. Chapman misses with a takedown and Hitzlspergher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hitzlspergher with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chapman misses with a takedown attempt and Hitzlspergher counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chapman thinking. A right-left combo lands from Hitzlspergher.
It looks like Wes Chapman has been cut. Hitzlspergher circles away from the clinch attempt and Hitzlspergher counters with a shoot takedown. Chapman fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Chapman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chapman controls Hitzlspergher momentarily but Hitzlspergher frees himself. Chapman keeping full guard, as Hitzlspergher tries to pass. Hitzlspergher is working hard here to advance position. Hitzlspergher gets to his feet - Chapman follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitzlspergher rushes Chapman and presses him up against the cage. Hitzlspergher lands a body shot. Hitzlspergher taking a breather. A nice right hand lands inside from Hitzlspergher. Hitzlspergher lands a body punch in the clinch. Hitzlspergher wants the takedown. Chapman is fighting it off but Hitzlspergher persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Chapman's guard against the cage. Hitzlspergher lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hitzlspergher passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hitzlspergher tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hitzlspergher looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chapman is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Chapman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chapman gets back to half guard. Hitzlspergher moves nicely into side control. Hitzlspergher is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Chapman is trying to escape and Hitzlspergher transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Chapman is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hitzlspergher! Very nice indeed!
