Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kazuya Kiriyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandro Noessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noessler has chosen Primordial - Empire Falls as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuya Kiriyama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sandro Noessler! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiriyama misses with a combination
and Noessler counters with a straight right hand. Noessler tries a head kick but it misses.
Kiriyama lands a jab to Noessler's midsection. Noessler looks gassed! Kiriyama closes the distance and clinches. Noessler blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kiriyama tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Noessler avoids it. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kiriyama gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Noessler regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kiriyama stands and throws Noessler's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kiriyama just content to control the position. Kiriyama scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Noessler to see if he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiriyama wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Noessler, who protects the arm well. Kiriyama misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kiriyama wants to control but Noessler is keeping him busy. Kiriyama decides to stand back up. Kiriyama looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kiriyama throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, if Kiriyama is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Noessler wants to control but Kiriyama is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kiriyama decides to stand up. Kiriyama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kiriyama is thwarting Noessler's attempts to control the position. Kiriyama thows a huge punch but Noessler dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiriyama throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kiriyama trying to control the action but Noessler is working from the bottom. Kiriyama seems to be looking for submissions.
Kiriyama is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Noessler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kiriyama. Kiriyama looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Noessler is looking for a sweep. Kiriyama is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kiriyama decides to return to a standing position. Kiriyama changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Noessler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Noessler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuya Kiriyama dominated that round. That's time! Kiriyama's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kiriyama has closed the distance and engaged Noessler in a clinch.
The referee calls for Kiriyama to work.
Noessler tries to score a body lock takedown but Kiriyama shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kiriyama jumps guard but Noessler stands there with Kiriyama around his waist. Kiriyama gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Noessler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kiriyama just stands there and leans against the cage. Kiriyama tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiriyama's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kiriyama closes the distance and clinches. Kiriyama breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Noessler is breathing heavily. Kiriyama shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Noessler is trying to defend but Kiriyama finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kiriyama is trying to control. Noessler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiriyama stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Kiriyama shoots in for a double leg but Noessler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kiriyama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kiriyama tries to pass to full mount but Noessler defends it. Noessler is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiriyama trying to pass the guard but Noessler defending well. Noessler blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kiriyama. Kiriyama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Noessler on the ground. Kiriyama perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kiriyama wants to get back to his feet.
Kiriyama is looking to take a break and control but Noessler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noessler slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Noessler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Noessler looking for a sweep. Not yet Noessler, not yet. Kiriyama trying to control the position from guard on top but Noessler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kiriyama pushing down on Noessler's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Noessler is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kiriyama is trying to control. Noessler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Noessler tries to roll over but Kiriyama keeps him under control. Kiriyama is nestled in close to Noessler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Noessler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kiriyama. Kiriyama stands up from half guard. A momentary lapse in concentration from Noessler enables Kiriyama to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Noessler manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuya Kiriyama dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Noessler gets the takedown into side control. Kiriyama is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Noessler off and has taken his back! Kiriyama working for a choke but Noessler is defending well. Noessler trying to control but not successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A lull in the action here.

Kiriyama landing with strikes. Kiriyama patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Noessler just trying to survive but Kiriyama is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Noessler is trying to get back to his feet but Kiriyama has full control of the position and if anything, Noessler has just worked his way into a worse spot. Kiriyama working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Noessler turns into Kiriyama and is now in his guard.
Noessler scoring with some ground and pound. Noessler trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Noessler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kiriyama swivels though and keeps the full guard. Noessler wants to control from the top but Kiriyama keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Noessler stopping the sweep attempt from Kiriyama. Kiriyama on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kiriyama tries to get out of the position. Kiriyama trying to strike off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kiriyama tries to roll over but Noessler keeps him under control. Kiriyama trying to control but Noessler postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiriyama makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kiriyama. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Noessler content to stall in guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sandro Noessler. Well Kiriyama has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
