Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ranndy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Core's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Emicida - Triunfo. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Core!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ranndy Couture!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Core connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Couture's hands.
Couture shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Core is trying to defend but Couture finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Core wants to control but Couture is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Couture seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Core has recovered full guard.
Core is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Couture drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Core dives on top into guard.
Core is fighting to break Couture's control of his arms but Couture is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that Couture has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ranndy Couture was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Core closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Couture quickly recovers to half guard.

Core wants to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Core throwing shots but Couture is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Couture is looking to control Core's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Couture avoid being mounted?
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bruno Core has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Couture shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Core napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Couture goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Core has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Couture but great work by Core.

Couture wants to control but Core postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Couture is holding Core down, trying to stall.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Core decides to stand up, so the ref orders Couture to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruno Core dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Core shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Couture sprawls well. Couture wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Core gets slowly back to his feet.
Couture decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Couture works his way into side control.
Core is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Couture is working to tighten is grip on Core's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Core has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Couture is really squeezing tight and eventually Core passes out! Couture breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
