Buntic doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Buntic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Buntic jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Alabdullah is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Alabdullah and Buntic has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Esmael Alabdullah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Buntic is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Alabdullah will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Buntic is looking to take a break and control but Alabdullah is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Buntic wants to sweep but no luck.
Buntic is looking to sinch up a triangle. Alabdullah throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Buntic's body to avoid the submission. Buntic has instead reached around Alabdullah's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Buntic arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
