The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Parker counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jay is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Jay swats away the attempt to clinch by Parker.

Parker throws a sloppy head kick and Jay moves out of range easily.
The fighters circling - Parker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Parker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Jay gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Parker counters with an outside leg kick.

Parker throws a head kick but Jay moves out of range.
Parker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Jay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Parker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Parker moves in looking to clinch but Jay pushes him off.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jay manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Parker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Jay bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jay swats away the attempt to clinch by Parker.
Parker looks to score with a jab to the body but Jay is just out of range.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jay. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Parker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Parker circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jay drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Parker follows Jay to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
