Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Remy Aerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Velazquez! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velazquez scores with a hook. Velazquez throws a series of punches but Aerts avoids them all with ease. Velazquez throws a left that rocks Aerts and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Velazquez dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Aerts regain composure!
Aerts is rocked!
It looks like Remy Aerts has been cut. Velazquez sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Aerts is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Oh Aerts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Velazquez throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Aerts seems to have got his legs back now. Velazquez is trying to ground and pound but Aerts uses the momentary lack of control by Velazquez to regain half guard. Velazquez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Velazquez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Aerts wants to control but Velazquez is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Velazquez throws a strike but Aerts avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Aerts keeping moving, preventing Velazquez from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velazquez wanted to stand there but Aerts had control of the position. Velazquez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Aerts's head. Aerts has his foot on Velazquez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Velazquez works his way back into a safe position though. Velazquez looking to sit in guard and control but Aerts gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Aerts trying to control but Velazquez is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Velazquez can do anything to dispel that myth. Velazquez preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velazquez wants to sweep here but Aerts controlling him for the moment. Aerts stops Velazquez from standing up. Aerts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Aerts with a flurry of punches that miss. Aerts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Velazquez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Velazquez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Aerts trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Aerts trying to control but Velazquez is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aerts misses with a jab, cross combination.
Aerts takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Velazquez tries to clinch and Aerts counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Aerts misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Velazquez.
Velazquez is looking to break free of the clinch but Aerts has double underhooks. Velazquez wants to get back to striking at distance but Aerts won't allow it.
Velazquez is trying to break the clinch but Aerts is controlling him. Aerts is trying to maintain a safe position but Velazquez gets an underhook and turns Aerts into the cage. Velazquez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Aerts tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Velazquez just stands there and leans against the cage. Aerts with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Aerts is breathing heavily. Aerts misses with a short punch on the inside. Velazquez keeps control of Aerts as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nice elbow from Aerts.
It looks like Shane Velazquez has been cut. Velazquez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Velazquez tries to circle away but Aerts has him pinned against the cage. Velazquez is working Aerts over against the cage. Velazquez tries to break free but Aerts pushes him back against the cage. Velazquez lands with a short shot to the head. Velazquez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Velazquez wants to get back to striking at distance but Aerts won't allow it.
Velazquez lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Aerts backwards. Aerts prevents Velazquez from breaking the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velazquez has had enough of the clinch but Aerts keeps him there for the moment. A battle for position here, against the cage. Aerts tries to score a body lock takedown but Velazquez shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Velazquez can't break the clinch.

Aerts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Velazquez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Velazquez is trying to push Aerts away but Aerts has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Velazquez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Aerts wants to stall.
Velazquez is looking to break free of the clinch but Aerts has double underhooks. Velazquez is trying to break the clinch but Aerts is controlling him. Velazquez on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Velazquez blocks an elbow strike. Velazquez tries to break the clinch but Aerts is controlling the position. Aerts is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Velazquez is keeping busy. Velazquez tries to circle away but Aerts has him pinned against the cage. Velazquez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short uppercut from Velazquez. Velazquez can't break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Velazquez dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!
A combination from Velazquez does no damage. Velazquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aerts paws at him with a jab and circles away. Velazquez darts in trying to clinch and Aerts counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Velazquez can't break the clinch.

Velazquez lands a shot to the body. Velazquez scores with a shoulder strike. Aerts tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Velazquez prevents the takedown attempt.
Velazquez tries to break the clinch but Aerts is controlling the position. Velazquez tries to break the clinch but Aerts is controlling the position. Velazquez working hard to break the clinch. Aerts drops down looking for an ankle pick but Velazquez pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Remy Aerts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aerts darts in trying to clinch and Velazquez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Aerts shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Velazquez drops Aerts with a huge uppercut! Aerts drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Velazquez is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
