8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Calzaghe! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner looks to throw the jab but Calzaghe is out of range. Calzaghe swings for the body but Winner moves out of range.
Calzaghe misses the body punch and Winner counters with an outside leg kick.
Calzaghe gets tackled into the cage by Winner. Winner maintains the clinch. Calzaghe working aggressively here.
Calzaghe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A short uppercut from Winner. Calzaghe wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Calzaghe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A right handed body shot lands from Winner.

Winner punishes Calzaghe's body with a nice straight punch. Calzaghe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Winner. Winner misses with the combination.
Calzaghe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Calzaghe looks gassed! Winner connects with a leg kick. Calzaghe looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A nice combination there by Winner.
It looks like Joe Calzaghe has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Calzaghe just misses with a punch to the body.

Calzaghe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winner not doing much here.
Winner not landing any meaningful shots this time. Winner missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Winner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Calzaghe has hold of Winner's hands but Winner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Winner stalling. Calzaghe is trying to maintain the position but Winner is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Winner frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Winner dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Calzaghe's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Calzaghe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Winner eats them both and turns towards Calzaghe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Winner swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Winner stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Winner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Calzaghe throws a body punch but Winner moves out of range. Calzaghe swings widly with a right hand
and Winner counters with a slapping leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Winner, right into the meat.

and Winner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Winner throws a leg kick which misses Calzaghe's front leg but catches the back leg as Calzaghe tries to avoid it. Some wild striking there from Calzaghe.

and Winner counters with a nice body kick. Calzaghe is breathing heavily. Winner lands with a thumping leg kick.
Calzaghe throws a body punch but Winner moves out of range. Calzaghe misses with an uppercut
and Winner counters with an inside leg kick. Winner throws a shot to the body.
Winner connects with a solid leg kick. Winner clinches up with Calzaghe and pushes him back against the cage. Calzaghe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Winner lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Calzaghe. Calzaghe's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A short right from Winner on the inside. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Winner. Winner gets through Calzaghe's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Winner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Winner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Winner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Calzaghe's half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winner trying to control the pace. Winner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Winner controlling the pace. Winner wants to pass the guard but Calzaghe is defending well. Winner stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Winner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Calzaghe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stan Winner. Calzaghe misses with an uppercut
and Winner counters with a stiff right hand. Calzaghe lands a right hook to the body.

Calzaghe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Winners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Calzaghe takes a jab right on the kisser.

Winner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Calzaghe. Calzaghe looks to score with a jab to the body but Winner is just out of range. Joe Calzaghe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Winner moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Winner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Calzaghe looks to land a left hand but Winner moved out of range nicely. Calzaghe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Winners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Calzaghe has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Winner. Winner on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Calzaghe swings and misses with a shot to the body and Winner counters with a leg kick. Winner throws a big shot that misses. Winner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Calzaghe's waist but Calzaghe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Winner off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Winner dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Joe Calzaghe's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Calzaghe takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Winner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Winner is looking to slow Calzaghe down with leg kicks. Calzaghe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Winner moves out of range of the strikes. Winner scoring well with a low kick there.
Calzaghe throws the left hand but Winner avoids the punch easily. Winner throws a right hand that misses
and Calzaghe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Winner throws a nice outside leg kick. Calzaghe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Winner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Calzaghe was covering up waiting for the punch and Winner finishes the takedown easily into guard. Winner won't allow Calzaghe to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winner sitting in guard, not really doing much. Winner trying to control but Calzaghe is working from the bottom. Winner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calzaghe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Calzaghe keeping moving, preventing Winner from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Stan Winner wasn't doing enough on the ground. Calzaghe throws the left hand but Winner avoids the punch easily. Calzaghe lands a nice shot that snaps Winner's head back.

Winner works on Calzaghe's body with a couple of short punches. Winner turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner trying to control the position but Calzaghe is working away. Calzaghe tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Winner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Calzaghe is trying to escape the mount.

Winner landing strikes from the mount. Stan Winner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winner prevents Calzaghe from getting the reversal. Winner avoids the attempt from Calzaghe to control. Winner content just to control the position here. Joe Calzaghe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Winner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Calzaghe for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Stan Winner showed his dominance in that final round. Well Winner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
