Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Trang Troc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chauncey Silvestre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troc comes to the cage accompanied by Like a Surgeon. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troc looks to land a left hand but Silvestre moved out of range nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Troc, right into the meat.
A low kick from Silvestre is predictable there
and Troc counters with a solid body kick.
Silvestre connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Silvestre misses with a combination
and Troc counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Troc dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silvestre lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Troc has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Troc and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Trang Troc will probably get the nod.

Troc wants to control from the top but Silvestre keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silvestre can do anything to dispel that myth.

Troc slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Trocis looking to pass into half guard but Silvestre pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Silvestre is in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Troc is pulling down on Silvestre's head. It's preventing any offense from Silvestre, at least for the moment.

Well Silvestre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
