The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fonseca.
Fonseca catches Wilson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wilson throws a lazy uppercut
and Fonseca counters with a stiff right hand.

Wilson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fonseca avoids it.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Fonseca for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Fonseca blocks an elbow strike from Wilson.
Fonseca throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Fonseca is pressed up against the cage. Wilson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fonseca down to the mat. Fonseca avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Wilson looks gassed!
Fonseca throws out a powerful jab.
Fonseca catches Wilson napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Wilson to the canvas!
Wilson is still in real trouble! Can Fonseca finish him?

Fonseca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fonseca is working away from the top position though.
Wilson seems to have recovered his senses.

Fonseca makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fonseca postures up and lands a big shot to Wilson's brow.

Fonseca drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Fonseca as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Wilson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Fonseca! Nice submission victory there!
