Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pasquale Kasserman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hurley Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyes has chosen "Telephone" by Lady GaGa w/Beyoncé as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pasquale Kasserman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hurley Reyes! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes throws a lazy uppercut
and Kasserman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kasserman. Kasserman is looking to break free of the clinch but Reyes has double underhooks. Kasserman breaks the clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Reyes.
A head kick misses from Kasserman. Reyes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kasserman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Reyes connects with a leg kick. Kasserman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kasserman misses with a head kick.
Reyes cracks Kasserman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Kasserman tries a low kick but Reyes avoids it. Kasserman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reyes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Reyes has Kasserman up against the cage in a clinch.
Reyes stalls. Reyes lands an elbow that stopped Kasserman in his tracks for a moment. Reyes lands an elbow that stopped Kasserman in his tracks for a moment. Kasserman breaks from the clinch.
Kasserman swings and misses with a shot to the body enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab. A leg kick checked by Reyes. A low kick from Reyes misses and Kasserman counters with a three punch combo that has Reyes backing up. Reyes nods at Kasserman to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasserman slips under a jab from Reyes. Reyes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kasserman checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Pasquale Kasserman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reyes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kasserman just misses with a punch to the body.
Reyes throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Reyes clinches up with Kasserman and pushes him back against the cage. Reyes looking to slow down the pace here. Reyes is looking to break free of the clinch but Kasserman has double underhooks. Kasserman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Reyes has him pressed against the cage. Reyes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight stays on the outside here - Reyes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Reyes moves into the clinch successfully.
Reyes pushes off an throws an elbow but Kasserman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kasserman pushes Reyes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Kasserman has had enough of the clinch but Reyes keeps him there for the moment. Kasserman is trying to break the clinch but Reyes has him pressed against the cage. Reyes breaks from the clinch.
Reyes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes drives through and clinches with Kasserman against the cage.
Kasserman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Reyes feints and then cracks Kasserman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kasserman down. A big right from Reyes misses. Kasserman throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Hurley Reyes has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kasserman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Reyes is out of range and Kasserman settles back down. Reyes gets in close and instigates a clinch. Reyes is trying to force a seperation but Kasserman has the dominant position. Reyes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Reyes gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Reyes tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kasserman is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Reyes buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Reyes!! Reyes is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kasserman throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pasquale Kasserman!
