Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Damien Gracie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roth fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Roth persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Roth is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Roth trying to pass the guard but Gracie defending well.
Roth wants to take a breather but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie tries to get to full guard but Roth has control of the leg.

Roth wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Roth.
Roth is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer.
Roth is stalling here. Gracie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Roth seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gracie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Gracie is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Roth is trying to escape and Gracie transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Roth is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gracie! Very nice indeed!
