Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knockout Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Knockout Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Quaid! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Bob misses and Bob takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Quaid forces Bob back against the cage and clinches. Bob tries to work over Quaid's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Bob misses with a body punch.
Bob fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bob is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Quaid is keeping busy. Bob takes a shot to the head. Quaid digs a right hand into Bob's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bob's gas tank. Bob gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Quaid.
Quaid is leaning against Bob and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Quaid lands a hook to the side of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Quaid has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bob regains guard immediately. Quaid is in close to Bob's body, working some short punches and elbows. Quaid preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob keeping moving, preventing Quaid from controlling successfully. Quaid scoring with some ground and pound. Quaid keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bob's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quaid pushing down on Bob's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Quaid thows a huge punch but Bob dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Quaid slips a nice elbow through Bob's hands, connecting with Bob's forehead. Quaid throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Quaid scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Bob pushes Quaid off looking to stand but Quaid dives back in and keeps control.
Bob has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Quaid is working away from the top position though. Quaid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bob is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Quaid with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bob tries to get to full guard but Quaid has control of the leg. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Quaid seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bob does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Quaid passes to side control. Quaid lands a few punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quaid works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Quaid wants to control but Bob is keeping him busy. Knockout Bob's cut is getting worse. Bob dodges the ground and pound from Quaid. Quaid has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quaid scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bob to see if he's OK.
Knockout Bob's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Quaid creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bob sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Quaid landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Jeez, Knockout Bob's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Knockout Bob's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
