Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Karl Britz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petri Nieminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nieminen has chosen Born an OG as his entrance music. Britz is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for Karl Britz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Britz swings for the body but Nieminen moves out of range.
Britz is breathing heavily.
Nieminen misses with the combination.
Nieminen shoots for a takedown but Britz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horrible takedown by Nieminen or perhaps it was just good defense by Britz which made him look bad.
Nieminen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Britz shoots in for a double leg but Nieminen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nieminen takes a swing at Britz's ribcage but misses.

and Britz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Nieminen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Britz.

Nieminen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Britz is rocked!
Nieminen shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Nieminen slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Nieminen lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Petri Nieminen!
