Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dasani Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Costa under the eye.
Costa wants to clinch.
Silva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Costa's head backwards.
Costa is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Costa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Costa moves nicely into side control.
Costa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Silva's shoulder. That is not cool.

Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Costa has him pressed against the cage.
Silva goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Costa gets through Silva's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Costa breaks from the clinch.
Costa takes the fight into the clinch.
Costa slowing the pace effectively.
Silva misses with a hook to the ribs.
Costa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Manuel Costa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Costa tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva throws a body punch but Costa moves out of range.
Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Costa takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dasani Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Good exchange - Silva coming out on top.
Costa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
Silva gets caught flat footed, as Costa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Silva has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Costa doesn't defend quickly enough and Silva has managed to lock this one up! Can Costa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Silva on a fantastic submission victory.
