The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovve drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lovve advances to half guard.
Francia pushes Lovve off looking to stand but Lovve dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Francia is looking to get back to is feet but Lovve passes into side control.
Lovve decides to stand back up.
Francia darts in trying to clinch
so Lovve counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lovve slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Lovve wants to control but Francia is keeping him busy.
Lovve decides to stand back up. Lovve steps back and let's Francia get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Francia defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lovve.
Francia looks to clinch
and Lovve counters with a single leg into guard. Francia didn't expect that.
Lovve trying to control but Francia is working from the bottom.
Lovve won't allow Francia to get back to his feet.
Francia looks gassed!
Lovve drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lovve seems to have locked his on tight now - Francia screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lovve, as he picks up the win!
