The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maccarone.
Diaz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maccarone was covering up waiting for the punch and Diaz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Maccarone has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Diaz should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Maccarone has tightened it up now! Diaz should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
