Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henryk Parowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuya Suzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Henryk Parowa!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parowa shoots and misses
and Suzuki counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Suzuki throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Parowa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Suzuki is in Parowa's guard.
Suzuki landing some decent shots from guard.
Parowa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Suzuki controlling from the top position.
Suzuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parowa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Parowa misses with a takedown attempt

and Suzuki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Suzuki passes Parowa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Suzuki tries to pass to full mount but Parowa defends it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Parowa tries to get to full guard but Suzuki has control of the leg.
Suzuki is controlling the pace.
Parowa tries to kick Suzuki off but Suzuki keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tatsuya Suzuki wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Suzuki throws a looping overhand right but Parowa ducks down to avoid it.
Suzuki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Parowa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Suzuki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Parowa won't be happy with that.

The referee asks Suzuki politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Suzuki prefers to stall for the moment though.
Suzuki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Tatsuya Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henryk Parowa.
Well, if Suzuki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Parowa has his takedown stuffed

and Suzuki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Parowa's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Suzuki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parowa for as long as he can get away with.

Parowa is breathing heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tatsuya Suzuki.

Suzuki tries a low kick but Parowa avoids it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Suzuki closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Parowa wants to get back to his feet but Suzuki drags him back down.
Parowa is trying to escape the position but Suzuki is controlling the position.

Suzuki decides to stand back up. Suzuki steps back and let's Parowa get back to his feet.

Suzuki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parowa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Suzuki has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Suzuki is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Suzuki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Parowa was covering up waiting for the punch and Suzuki finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Suzuki has his hands clasped together around Parowa's back. He's all about the action.
Tatsuya Suzuki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Suzuki wants to improve his position but Parowa is controlling well.

Tatsuya Suzuki is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parowa is staying active underneath Suzuki, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
