Griswold's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hooking Up The Lights. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez wants to land a leg kick but Griswold is out of range.
Martinez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Martinez throws a leg kick but Griswold sees it coming and moves out of range.

Griswold closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Martinez quickly recovers to half guard.

Griswold is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Griswold seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Martinez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd cheers as Griswold lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martinez doesn't seem phased though.
Martinez fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Griswold is out of range.
Martinez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Griswold pinned against the cage. Griswold gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Martinez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Martinez misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Griswold counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Martinez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Griswold pinned against the cage. Griswold gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Griswold counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Griswold.
Griswold misses with a hook to the ribs.

Martinez pulls guard successfully.

Martinez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Griswold gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Griswold cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Griswold controls Martinez momentarily but Martinez frees himself.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Santiago Martinez wasn't active enough on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Martinez misses with a double jab
and Griswold connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Martinez misses with a right hand
and Griswold counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Martinez leaves Griswold with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Martinez misses with a left hand
and Griswold counters with a right hand to the body.
Martinez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rusty Griswold showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Griswold has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
