Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waz Wsciekly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Gracie! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wsciekly looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wsciekly prevents Gracie from standing back up.
Wsciekly seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wsciekly wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wsciekly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Gracie is in all sorts of trouble here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ken Gracie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters roll with the hold and Wsciekly manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Wsciekly's guard. Gracie looks gassed! That was a close round but I would say that Waz Wsciekly will probably get the nod. That's time! Wsciekly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ken Gracie. Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wsciekly counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gracie won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wsciekly controlling the position from side mount. Gracie is breathing heavily. Wsciekly seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gracie for as long as he can get away with. Gracie wants to control but Wsciekly postures up. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gracie misses with a takedown so Wsciekly counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Waz Wsciekly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Gracie. Wsciekly stopping the sweep attempt from Gracie. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wsciekly sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Wsciekly perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Waz Wsciekly. Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wsciekly counters with a nice double leg into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Waz Wsciekly dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wsciekly counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wsciekly is one step ahead there. Gracie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ken Gracie was stalling too much, according to the referee. Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wsciekly counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wsciekly. Wsciekly content to stall in guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ken Gracie was stalling too much, according to the referee. Wsciekly throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wsciekly is in Gracie's guard. Wsciekly wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Wsciekly controlling from the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Waz Wsciekly showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wsciekly has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
