Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keith Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swagger has chosen Amazing as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shaun Swagger is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaun Swagger! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith stalks Swagger and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Swagger's face. Swagger staggers backwards, shaken. Swagger looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Swagger misses with a right hand and Smith counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Smith. Smith's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Keith Smith has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Smith looks for the body kick but Swagger saw that one coming. Smith scores with a punch to the head. Swagger throws a combination that misses and Smith counters with a left and a right that stings Swagger. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith rushes Swagger and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith keeps control of Swagger as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Smith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Shaun Swagger has been cut. Smith misses with a wild combination.
Smith lands a left and a right that send Swagger crashing to the mat, dazed. Smith thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Swagger is rocked! Crack! Smith connects with the perfect overhand right and Swagger falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Smith!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keith Smith!
