Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Alexeev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Alexeev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samuel Dance! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Igor Alexeev! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexeev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dance sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alexeev somewhat. Dance misses with a left hand and Alexeev counters with a takedown into side control. Alexeev moves into full mount! Dance blocking the ground and pound. Dance blocking the ground and pound. Alexeev takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Alexeev is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dance is surviving well by controlling Alexeev's body position as best he can. Alexeev tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dance tries to buck Alexeev off but he can't manage it. Alexeev controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dance is squirming around, avoiding Alexeev's attempts to control the action. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Igor Alexeev has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Alexeev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Alexeev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dance makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Samuel Dance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Alexeev. Alexeev looks gassed! Dance dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Alexeev glances at the clock... BAM! Dance nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Alexeev crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Alexeev is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samuel Dance!
