Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andy Zab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Kravelski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Zab could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sergei Kravelski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Zab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergei Kravelski! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kravelski pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kravelski throws a series of punches but Zab moves out of range. Kravelski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zab swivels and escapes. Zab throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Horrible takedown by Kravelski or perhaps it was just good defense by Zab which made him look bad. Zab misses with the body kick and Kravelski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zab's guard now. Zab on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zab tries to get out of the position. Zab looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kravelski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Zab wants to stand up but Kravelski is controlling him. Kravelski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sergei Kravelski was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kravelski takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kravelski. Andy Zab has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Kravelski. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zab.

Zab seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Zab throws an elbow but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kravelski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kravelski trying to control the action but Zab is working from the bottom. Zab gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Zab is refusing to be controlled, as Kravelski sits in half guard. Andy Zab is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Zab tries to get to full guard but Kravelski has control of the leg. Zab is positioning himself well to prevent Kravelski advancing to mount. Kravelski is looking to take a break and control but Zab is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sergei Kravelski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sergei Kravelski has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Zab throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that's the end of the fight! Andy Zab showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zab, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
