Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinya Aoki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Aoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andre Solomon! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aoki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Aoki will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Aoki wants to control but Solomon is keeping him busy. Solomon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aoki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. He has the arm isolated but Solomon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solomon is trying to get back to his feet. Aoki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Solomon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Aoki asserts his dominance and retains side control. Aoki goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Solomon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Aoki but great work by Solomon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solomon wants to stand but Aoki has his arm trapped. Aoki is trying to control Solomon's posture but Solomon avoids it. Solomon wants to stand but Aoki is controlling his arm. You can see the frustration on Aoki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Solomon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Solomon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aoki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Aoki with a poor takedown and Solomon counters with a shoot takedown. Aoki fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aoki has a closed guard, preventing Solomon from standing up. Solomon looks gassed! Aoki thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Solomon defends well. Solomon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Aoki wants to sweep but no luck. Solomon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aoki is proving hard to escape from. Aoki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Aoki is landing with some decent strikes but Solomon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solomon avoids a series of strikes thrown by Aoki.
Aoki moves to back control. Solomon has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Aoki is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Solomon is tapping out! This one is all over!
