Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chay Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willis comes to the cage accompanied by As I Lay Dying - Through Struggle. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide shoots in and drives through. Willis sprawls well.
Willis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Willis avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Slide takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Slide takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Slide throws a leg kick
and Willis counters with a nice body shot.
Slide throws a jab but it's blocked by Willis.
The fighters circling - Willis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Willis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Willis remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Willis throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Slide works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Slide won't allow Willis to pass to mount.
Willis wants to take a breather but Slide is having none of it.
Willis thows a huge punch but Slide dodges it nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Willis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Slide wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Willis.
Slide is squirming around, avoiding Willis's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Willis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slide is looking to escape.

That has opened up Bimbo Slide's cut even more.
Willis lands a nice shot to the head.

Willis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Slides jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A punch lands to the side of Slide 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Donk. Willis catches Slide right on the button with a cross.
Willis throws a lazy right hand but Slide sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Willis on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Slide takes one on the button.
Willis misses with a straight left.
Slide throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Willis to counter with a crisp jab.
Willis just misses with a punch to the body.
Willis punishes Slide's body with a nice straight punch.
Chay Willis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willis fails to land the takedown.
Bimbo Slide is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Willis misses with a wild body shot.
Willis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Slide lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Slide thows a left - swing and a miss!
A jab from Willis misses.
Willis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Slide counters with a three punch combo that has Willis backing up. Willis nods at Slide to acknowledge the strikes.
Slide throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Willis misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Slide counters by clinching up.
Slide tries a knee to the head but Willis blocks it.

Slide throws a knee to the head but misses.
Slide misses with a short punch on the inside.
Willis lands a left hand.

The cut above Bimbo Slide's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Slide misses with a knee to the head.

Willis gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Slide is in trouble now - Willis has advanced to mount!
Willis cracks Slide with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bimbo Slide's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
