The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Henry does no damage. Henry misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trout tries a head kick but it misses.
Henry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trout circles away. Henry scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Henry thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
