Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Karinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aimo Murheinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karinen comes to the ring accompanied by Turisas - Sahti Waari. Murheinen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. If You're Gonna Be Dumb kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murheinen throws a right hand that Karinen ducks under and follows up with a left that Karinen also avoids with ease.
Murheinen drops his hands momentarily and Karinen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Murheinen swings widly with a right hand
and Karinen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Karinen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kimbo Karinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Murheinen moves away.
Karinen looks to score with a jab to the body but Murheinen is just out of range.
Karinen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Karinen misses with a double jab
and Murheinen counters with a leg kick.
No joy there for Murheinen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Murheinen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Karinen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murheinen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Karinen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murheinen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Murheinen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Karinen.
Murheinen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

and Murheinen counters with an outside leg kick.
Karinen tests Murheinen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Murheinen is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Murheinen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karinen.
Karinen wants to clinch but Murheinen slips to the side
and Murheinen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aimo Murheinen dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Karinen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Karinen is looking to wear down Murheinen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

letting Murheinen counter with a right hand.

Aimo Murheinen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Karinen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Murheinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karinen moves away.

Aimo Murheinen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Aimo Murheinen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Murheinen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
