Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eric Richards!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards tries to clinch but Requina moves out of range.
Requina closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Requina lands in his opponent's guard.
Requina pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Richards is keeping the position for now.
Requina is working hard here to advance position.
Requina throwing strikes from guard but Richards blocks nicely.
Requina trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Requina is looking to work some ground and pound but Richards has wrist control.
Requina postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Richards is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Requina, into his guard.

Requina looking to hit a scissor sweep but Richards is one step ahead there.
Requina throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Richards escapes and throws Requina's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Requina is breathing heavily.
Richards in side control, throwing shots but Requina defends.
Richards stands up and beckons Requina to his feet.
Requina looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Richards is fending him off so far but Requina persists. Nope, Richards circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Requina as Richards shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Requina fails with a takedown attempt.
Eric Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Richards looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Richards misses with a few strikes there.
Requina avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Requina shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Richards pinned against the cage. Richards gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jomar Requina. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Richards misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Richards throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Richards moves in looking to clinch but Requina pushes him off.
Requina shoots in but no luck this time.
Richards scores with a kick to the body.
Richards scores with a kick to the midsection.
Richards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Requina moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Richards tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Requina.
Richards really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Requina. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Requina has an Americana. Richards didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Requina is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Requina hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
