The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lamont.
Santos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lamont pinned against the cage. Lamont gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Santos wants to clinch.
Santos tries for a takedown but Lamont sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lamont throws a jab when Santos was well out of range.
Lamont scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
