Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Sean Perry has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Perry to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Perry works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Perry takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Perry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Perry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Perry connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Driver some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
